It sounds like something out of the Old West, but its actually part of South Tampa. The small peninsula jutting into Old Tampa Bay, just south of the Gandy Bridge, has long been a part of the Gandy area marine industry. The Hula Bay features a South Pacific motif and includes a 3,000 square foot deck that overlooks Rattle Snake Cove. This awning covers two-thirds of the 120 seats.
Hula Bay was constructed on top of concrete piers and extends out into the bay. The envelope was constructed of classic wood frame and wood lap siding board finished off with a metal standing seam roof. Full kitchen, food prep area, freezers and cold storage areas were also designed and construction. All work performed under license number CGC057987
